From Open Mic to Headliner

Whether you’re stepping onstage for the first time or looking to sharpen your stand-up skills, this workshop will give you the tools to build confidence and become a stronger comedian. We’ll cover joke writing, stage presence, microphone technique, set structure, timing, and exercises to help manage stage fright. You’ll also learn how the comedy industry works—from open mics and showcases to clubs, managers, agents, and building your presence on social media. Most importantly, we’ll focus on discovering your unique comedic voice and developing the confidence to trust what makes you funny. You’ll leave with practical skills, industry insight, and a roadmap for taking your next steps in comedy.
