A one day workshop that teaches you the acting tools and secrets to enhancing the performances of your stand up set. You will learn how to use professional acting techniques to help you find the perfect delivery for your jokes. To put it poetically, the goal of the workshop is to awaken the actor inside the comedian.
About your instructor:
Tan Hoang is a stand up comedian, actress and performer originally from Vietnam, and currently based in Philadelphia.
Hoang was a regular performer at Good Good Comedy in Philadelphia, where she showcased for 2019’s Comedy Central’s "Up Next". She’s performed in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Bechdel Test Festival, Five Dollar Comedy Week, Blue Heaven Comedy Festival, Cannonball Festival and was featured in 2022 and 2023's The Very Big Very Asian Comedy Festival. She's opened for such acts as Jon Daly, Whitmer Thomas, Tina Friml, Joel Kim Booster and Jaboukie Young…
